Celeste and Jesse
Forever
A review of the movie "Meet Me in St. Gallen"
On this film, it was just a coincidence that the two main characters have similar names with the main characters of a Hollywood movie entitled Celeste and Jesse Forever. But in the minds of the people behind this masterpiece, it was intentional.
The American movie and this film were both about destiny.
I am so in love with the screenplay of this movie. Plus, the shots and angles for the photography are exceptional. I wasn’t able to get over it instantly.
And to testify that, the next day after I watched the movie, I searched for some of the locations where they filmed the first part, went there, and re-felt the atmosphere while watching this destiny-filled movie.

Bella Padilla as Celeste, sitting in a coffee shop. They shot this scene in Centris, Quezon Ave.

My friend and one of my contributors, Rachelle Cruz. I took a photo of her in the same coffee shop but not in the same seat where Bella Padilla was sitting on the above photo. It took us a day to realize that we're on the other side of the store.

Black Swan
A review of the movie "Sid & Aya (Not A Love Story)"
Here's another Irene Emma Villamor movie four months after Meet Me in St. Gallen was released last February this year.
Direct Irene has shown her competencies in the film industry since her first solo movie that she directed last 2016, Camp Sawi.
Sid & Aya (Not a love story) was inspired of the Blackswan theory coined by Nassim Taleb, a metaphor that describes unpredictable events which has a great impact.
This film will drown us to so much feels again
